Anybody else have problems like this? I have an older Brent’s disease, and highly suspected Ehlers-Danlos syndrome?

I think so. I have TERRIBLE joint degeneration, for being my age (drs always tell me so). As an aside to you, though, about the bleeds under the skin--have you been tested for any vein irregularities? I have Ehlers-Danlos, Vascular Type, and I often "blow" veins under my skin very easily. They IMMEDIATELY turn black/purple and swell up, but then dissipate quite quickly...leaving just a bruise behind. This is a very dangerous diagnosis, so if your symptoms are similar, please get tested for it.
