While most of my bleeds were pretty closely related in regards to the pain level, but the two that surprised me the most were the shoulder and groin bleeds. When I had a shoulder bleed flare up, I often had to sleep sitting up because any other position was incredibly painful. The groin bleeds were so painful I was often walking like the hunchback of Notre Dame. Very difficult to rest for these bleeds.

Not sure if anything surprised me. Maybe the terrible spontaneous bleeds I’d get. I’d wake up with an elbow that is huge, red, hot and painful as he/(!!!
Took a while to get used to that.
The pain probably surprised me also. Some of the bleeds I had were incredibly painful. I remember to this day, I left work(I was a manager of a mortgage ofc for a big bldr) and went home and laid in my daughters room(it was dark) and cried. This was 25 or so yrs ago. I’m an old guy now and don’t get many bleeds anymore. What surprised you?😀
